About Course

The Interior Design major is one of the official Baccalauréat Technique (BT) programs offered in Lebanon. This secondary-level certification, accredited by the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education – Ministry of Education and Higher Education, follows either the Brevet Professionnel (BP) or the Academic Brevet. This three-year program provides students with a strong foundation in interior design principles, space planning, and essential skills in using design software. Although it primarily prepares students for further academic study, it also equips them with practical competencies that are valuable in interior design job roles. BT certificate holders in Interior Design are eligible to pursue higher education, including a Technique Supérieur (TS) diploma at vocational institutions or a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) at Lebanese universities.

Major Duration

The Interior Design program spans three years, following the official curriculum guidelines set by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Exams & Certification

Students will take three term exams throughout each scholastic year, in addition to scheduled monthly quizzes designed to assess their progress and understanding of the coursework. At the end of the final year, students must complete a graduation project, students will sit for an official examination conducted by the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education under the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Upon successful completion of this examination and the graduation project, students will be awarded an official certificate issued by the Ministry, recognizing their academic achievement and qualification.
