About Course

The Architectural Drawing major is one of the official Baccalauréat Technique (BT) programs offered in Lebanon. This secondary-level certification, accredited by the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education – Ministry of Education and Higher Education, follows either the Brevet Professionnel (BP) or the Academic Brevet. This three-year program provides students with a strong foundation in architectural drawing principles, design techniques, and essential skills in using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Although it primarily prepares students for further academic study, it also equips them with practical competencies that are valuable in architectural and design job roles. BT certificate holders in Architectural Drawing are eligible to pursue higher education, including a Technique Supérieur (TS) diploma at vocational institutions or a Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) at Lebanese universities.

Pre-requisites

Educational Qualification: Applicants must hold one of the following:

Brevet (Grade 9) – Lebanese General Intermediate Certificate: Completion of the general intermediate certificate.
Brevet Professionnel (BP) – Specialized vocational diploma: Holding a specialized vocational diploma.
Any recognized equivalence approved by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education: Possession of an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry.

Admission Requirements

Certified attestation of the last class studied or a copy of the degree earned: Official documentation of previous academic achievements.
One passport-size photo: Recent photograph for identification purposes.
A copy of the I.D. (Identity Card or Passport): Proof of identity.
Completed Enrollment Form: Fully filled-out application form.
Payment of the Registration Fee: Completion of the required registration payment.

Major Duration

The Architectural Drawing program spans three years, following the official curriculum guidelines set by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

Exams & Certification

Students will take three term exams throughout each scholastic year, in addition to scheduled monthly quizzes designed to assess their progress and understanding of the coursework. At the end of the final year, students must complete a graduation project, students will sit for an official examination conducted by the General Directorate of Vocational and Technical Education under the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Upon successful completion of this examination and the graduation project, students will be awarded an official certificate issued by the Ministry, recognizing their academic achievement and qualification.
